To use any of StampingSimulation.com's services, a 3D CAD model of your part is ALWAYS required. Simulation uses 3D geometry just like a CAD program and therefore the starting point is a 3D model.

The preferred CAD format is IGS, however, feel free to upload any CAD file format you have as StampingSimulation.com can translate almost any CAD format.

The data must be in 3D. If you provide a 2D file (such as DWG or DXF) StampingSimulation.com will provide a quote to turn your 2D data in to 3D before proceeding with sheet metal forming simulations.
